We believe that buying antique or vintage furniture is as important as buying art. Often it is an investment, and it only takes one or two pieces to really add depth and personality to a room. When buying a vintage piece you are choosing to differentiate your space in an original way. Some designers of the mid-century era, such as Paul Evans, created one off pieces, uniquely crafted and each like their own sculpture. For this reason we view our furniture as functional art. However, it doesn’t need to be a case of adorning your entire living space with mid-century pieces. Depending on your own style, circumstance and surroundings we believe that it is about striking the right balance between the old and the new. What we do advocate is that your furniture, as with your art, should be an expression of your own character and personal taste. Never be afraid to mix it up a little and certainly never be afraid to flaunt it.
